Ruby Junior Engineer at BairesDev
As a Ruby Junior Engineer, youll apply your initial Ruby skills to develop and maintain web applications. This role involves engaging in the full software development cycle, enhancing your Ruby programming capabilities, and gaining experience in web development frameworks.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain Ruby applications, focusing on writing well-structured, efficient code.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and contribute to different stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, contributing to improving application performance and reliability.
- Participate actively in code reviews, applying and adhering to best practices in Ruby development.
- Work with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks, developing a deeper understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful design.
- Contribute to writing automated tests and documentation for Ruby applications, ensuring code reliability and maintainability.
Heres what we are looking for:
- 1+ year of experience with Ruby.
- Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to solve problems effectively and learn new technologies quickly.
- Good level of English.
