We are looking for a junior professional with a technical or technological background in Logistics, International Trade, or related fields, with at least one year of experience in operational or administrative areas within the logistics sector. This person should have a basic level of English (minimum B2+ advanced) and a willingness to continue developing their language skills.
We are focused on finding a dynamic, adaptable, and proactive profile, with a strong desire to learn. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management are essential. We especially value the ability to work well in a team, as well as independently when needed.
This role requires a high level of readiness to tackle daily challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset and availability to work after hours or weekends, if needed, to support logistics operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Establish and foster strong relationships with carriers, customs brokers, internal team members, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Conduct negotiations with shippers and carriers.
Monitor and track shipments, overseeing the pickup and delivery process to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Collaborate closely with shippers, receivers, carriers, and customs agents to ensure timely pickups and deliveries, coordinating all required documentation and appointments.
Track and update the status of shipments with carriers, shippers, and customs brokers, keeping clients and stakeholders informed of progress.
Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation accurately and efficiently.
Accurately enter data into the system using information provided by the trader or customer.
Book trucks for shipments.
Negotiate freight rates with carriers strategically to optimize cost-efficiency.
Request Proof of Delivery (POD) immediately upon completion of each shipment to confirm successful delivery.
