About the Role:
We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and provide knowledge and practice experience of the design, test, implementation, optimization, and support of Microsoft SQL Server environments. Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL Server DBA role working Always on Availability Group, Transaction Replication, Table Partition, Waits stats, Backups, SQL Server T-SQL Programing.
Key Responsibilities: You should have very good understanding on MS SQL System Databases & Tempdb allocations and usage You must have knowledge in how to configure HA & DR using always on Availability groups and should have clear understanding how always on replicate data from one server to another. Extensive knowledge and experience in configuration and troubleshooting transaction replication & Transaction replication with Always on. Database Table partition and how to partition large tables. Coding skills on T-SQL and have exposure to performance Trouble shooting. SQL Server Native Backups & Recovery in Always on Environments. Proactively monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning strategies across large-scale database environments. Lead initiatives related to database security, compliance (PCI, SOC2, ISO 27001), and vulnerability management.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support query optimization and database architecture improvements. Genrate comprehensive documentation for database design, configuration, change management, and recovery procedures. Familiarity with tools like SSRS, SSIS, DTS, and system administration utilities. Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments is a plus. Strong English communication skills (B2C1), both written and spoken, for collaboration with global teams.
