We are looking for a workshop chief who will coordinate our post-sale workshop operations, ensuring proper service allocation, adherence to repair time standards, management of insurance cases, and resource optimization; all aligned with customer service and operational excellence standards.
We require:
B2 English level or above is essential (you gonna work with an executive who doesn't speak Spanish)
Technician, Technologist or Professional degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in automotive workshops, 2 as a team leader or manager.
Leadership, planning and bilingual communication.
Main functions:
Strategically assign technical tasks based on operational workload, staff skillsets, and time commitments.
Monitor and update standardized service times and costs, feeding into the technician commission structure.
Liaise with insurers regarding evaluations, authorizations, and formalities for collision, damage, or coverage-related cases.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer care procedures across all technical workflows.
Maximize efficiency in the use of materials, tools, and technician performance, aligned with workshop KPIs.
Work on site, showroom in Bogotá.
Direct contract with the company
Salary $4,000,000 COP + commissions depending on the number of services of the team.
