Android + Kotlin Senior Developer at BairesDev
As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform, using Kotlin as the primary development language. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as work on bug fixing and improving the overall performance of the applications.
What You Will Do:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code.
- Develop advanced Android applications, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
- Ensure the apps meet high standards of usability, security, and scalability.
What We Are Looking For:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Android development.
- Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and Java for Android development.
- Strong experience with Android SDK and a solid understanding of mobile application architecture.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control tools like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD processes for Android development.
- Advanced level of English is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Android Jetpack, Android Studio, and UI/UX design principles.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud services and APIs, such as Firebase.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
