Role Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join a fast-growing digital solutions team. You will work on a variety of projects for international digital agencies, helping to build and maintain high-performing websites and eCommerce stores. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys clean, scalable code, values collaboration, and thrives in a fully remote environment.
Youll be part of a skilled development team that delivers white-label services for agencies across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Responsibilities:
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins according to project specifications.
Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, ensuring performance, security, and functionality.
Convert design mockups (Figma/PSD) into responsive, optimized WordPress websites.
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and user experience.
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Implement integrations with third-party tools, APIs, and platforms when needed.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows.
Qualifications:
35+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development.
Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
Experience with popular builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
Familiarity with performance optimization and SEO best practices for WordPress.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote setting.
English proficiency (B2+ or higher) able to communicate effectively with international clients and teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience with WooCommerce and other eCommerce integrations.
Knowledge of headless WordPress or JAMstack approaches.
Familiarity with deployment processes and hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudways, etc.).
