Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to support both internal and external customers. This role involves creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting on-premise and cloud solutions (Office365, Azure, Active Directory, backup & recovery), ensuring optimal performance and strict security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Administer on-prem Active Directory, Office365, and Azure.
Support email migrations to Office365.
Configure, install, and manage workstations, servers, and software.
Monitor and manage server and network performance.
Troubleshoot and respond to network, server, and storage alerts.
Collaborate across server, storage, workstation, and application teams with a focus on security compliance.
Maintain system documentation, reporting, and support best practices.
Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and system optimization tasks.
Provide high-quality, professional communication and support to end users.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
BA/BS degree + 3 years of experience, or Associate degree + 3 years, or 5+ years of equivalent enterprise IT experience in a network-specific position.
Technical Skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex systems.
End-user presentation skills: ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
Hands-on experience with:
Office365 & SharePoint Administration
VMWare / Hypervisors
PowerShell scripting
Anti-virus & security tools
Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, QRadar, SNOW, Tufin, etc.)
NextGen Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint)
Networking protocols, routing & switching
Backup solutions
Certifications (preferred):
CompTIA Server+
Office365 Certification
CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Security+
