Genuine School is a Colombia-based startup (founded in 2022) and a US-accredited digital school. We currently have over 500 students from Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. Our mission is to make high-quality bilingual education accessible from anywhere, transforming the lives of thousands of students and shaping the future of Latin America.
We are seeking a certified and experienced Scrum Master to guide our agile teams in delivering impactful solutions. If you're passionate about agile transformation, continuous improvement, and empowering teams, this is the opportunity for you.
You're our perfect candidate if:
You hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
You are a Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or hold an equivalent agile certification
You have 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional software teams in a cloud-native environment
You have proven expertise facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
You are skilled at removing blockers, fostering team autonomy, and minimizing distractions
You are confident coaching teams and stakeholders in agile values and best practices
You track delivery metrics in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools to inform continuous improvement
You have working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with AI or LLM tools is a plus
You are fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum events for up to two agile squads
Support backlog refinement with Product Owners and ensure stories are well defined and prioritized
Promote iterative, transparent delivery and team accountability
Identify and remove impediments; escalate risks when appropriate
Use data and retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Coordinate with DevOps to maintain and enhance CI/CD practices
Promote agile best practices across Genuine School’s academic and business units
