We are seeking a passionate and organized Recruiter/ Human Resources to join our growing team and help us identify, hire, and support top-tier caregiving talent.
Position Summary:
The Recruiter/ Human Resources will be responsible for the full cycle of caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and HR support functions. This individual will play a key role in ensuring we attract and retain qualified and compassionate caregivers, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and be able to respond with urgency and professionalism to meet our agency evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit and interview Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and other support staff
Conduct reference checks, background screenings, credential verifications, and onboarding documentation
Coordinate and conduct caregiver orientations and skill competency evaluations
Maintain employee files in accordance with state and AHCA requirements
Support scheduling team with staffing needs and communication
Maintain HR databases and systems with up-to-date employee information
Monitor certification renewals, fingerprints, CEUs, and training compliance
Participate in performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed
Promote employee engagement and retention programs
Assist Director of Operations with HR compliance, audits, and reporting
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year and a half of experience in HR, recruiting, or healthcare staffing (homecare preferred)
Knowledge of AHCA requirements and caregiver credentialing
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Proficient Microsoft office, familiarity with HR software, ATS, or scheduling platforms
Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and respond with urgency
Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in a home health or healthcare agency setting
