Ocean Export Assistant

Marinex Logistics SAS is a growing NVOCC and freight forwarding agent, headquartered in the United States with supporting teams in Istanbul, Turkiye, and Medellín, Colombia. We offer logistic solutions for maritime and air shipments both import and export from around the world.

Job Description

• Coordinate and follow up the daily operations of LCL, FCL.
• Ensure compliance with delivery deadlines established with our clients.
• Manage the documentation and procedures required for the United Stated export regulation, such as fill out AES, titles or documents validation.
• Sustain close contact with suppliers and customers to ensure effective communication.
• Solve any issues and setbacks that may arise during the cargo transportation process.
• Revise and control invoices from service providers.
• Revise and analyze documentation related to the export process such as MBL’s, HBL’s invoices, Origin certificated and any other document that should be consider.
• Other complementary tasks related to the position.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Technologist / Professional Degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of import in United States
•Preferably 2 years of experience in the operations department of Freight Forwarders in United States.
• English proficiency level B2 Advanced.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Goal-oriented with self-discipline.
• Able to handle stress.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong PC operational knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office applications.


Salary: Negotiable + Legal surcharge for worked Colombian holidays (Applies U.S. calendar).
Contract: Indefinite Term.
Schedule: Schedule: At the office, Weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm - during summertime from Mid-March to Earlier November, and weekdays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm -during winter hours from Earlier November to Mid-March.
