At RSI We’re Looking for a Billing Specialist – Join Our Amazing Team!
The Billing Specialist is responsible for analyzing, researching, and ensuring the firm resolves and responds to all invoice deductions by our institutional clients, across the firm. The Specialist will leverage the existing process and centralized reporting to ensure appeal deadlines are met and carried out on a timely basis, while maximizing the firm’s financial recovery from rejected bills.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
-) Understand and adhere to all billing guidelines.
-) Accurately log recovery efforts in the approved reports and accounting system(s) as provided on a weekly basis.
-) Receive and assemble client rejections in an organized fashion to either remedy the issues, collaborate if needed, or ensure rejections are communicated in order to be written off the firm’s Accounts Receivable.
-) Analyze validity/root cause for bill rejection and determine best course of action to recover payment immediately.
-) Identify patterns and metrics on improper billing by client, activity and individual billers and ensure these are provided to management for training and personnel management purposes.
-) Participate in work sessions, trainings or meetings as needed.
-) Submit disputes/appeals through client portals on a timely basis per client guidelines and/or firm policy as applicable to individual clients or support the proper resource in doing so.
-) Develop a strong understanding of client billing using external portals.
What we expect from you:
-) B2-C1 Level of English.
-) Strong skills and hands on experience with MS Office Suites, and knowledge of accounting and Billing system preferred.
-) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-) Prior audit or quality control experience a strong plus.
-) Proactive and problem-solving attitude and drive required.
-) Must work well under pressure and in a collaborative shared workspace, while driving to fixed dates and schedules in completing tasks and projects.
