Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Drayage Logistics Coordinator to support our billing and operations teams. The ideal candidate will manage delivery orders, update shipment statuses, and ensure seamless coordination across internal systems and teams. This role is ideal for someone with experience in intermodal logistics and drayage operations, comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Set up final delivery charges in the company portal.
Create and manage new delivery orders received from clients.
Update delivery order statuses in spreadsheets or internal systems.
Track containers using port websites, TMS systems, and chassis pool platforms.
Support coordination between the dispatch and operations teams.
Ensure accuracy in shipment records and timely communication.
Monitor key drayage logistics aspects such as terminal appointments, LFDs, demurrage, and freight holds.
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree (not required but a plus).
12 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or administrative operations.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Prior experience or solid understanding of drayage operations and container logistics.
Familiarity with terminal appointments, LFDs, demurrage, freight holds, and port-related workflows.
Comfortable using port websites, chassis pools, and TMS platforms.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines daily.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, email platforms, and task tracking tools.
Self-starter, fast learner, and detail-oriented.
