Content & Motion Designer – Brand + Product Storytelling

Salary: $3,450 USD Monthly
Hours: 11am to 8pm PST
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a highly skilled hands-on motion designer and video editor who can personally execute polished, product-focused videos from start to finish. This role is perfect for a technical creative who loves being in After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator daily—turning raw product footage, screen recordings, and assets into engaging, professional training and feature launch videos.
Where Your Time will be Spent:
- 60–70%: Updating and producing training and support videos with screen recordings, clean voiceovers, and brand-perfect motion polish.
- 20–30%: Creating marketing and social media assets for LinkedIn, YouTube, and events.
- Occasional: Motion design for UI interactions, sizzle reels, and high-visibility brand visuals.
What You’ll Create:
- Update and improve existing product training videos to keep them accurate and on-brand
- Create new feature launch videos and product walkthroughs for web, marketing, and social
- Apply motion graphics, UI animations, and text treatments for clarity and engagement
- Sync voiceovers, music, and sound effects for a premium, polished finish
You Bring:
- 5+ years hands-on in After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop (Figma a plus)
- Proven ability to design, animate, edit, and finish complete video projects yourself
- Strong technical motion skills: masking, compositing, transitions, timing, pacing
- Fluent in U.S.-style product design aesthetics
- Detail-driven with an obsession for clean files, pixel-perfect visuals, and brand consistency
- Experience creating training content or software/product demos is a huge plus
Nice-to-Haves:
- Sound design and audio finishing experience
- Figma, Illustrator, and async-friendly tools (Loom, Descript)
- Light 3D or advanced motion effects skills
- SaaS or tech industry experience
