Carrier Sales Representative
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Remote

Key Responsibilities:
* Outbound Prospecting: Make 100150 cold calls per day to potential shippers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
* Lead Generation: Use internal databases and industry platforms to identify potential customers and gather contact information.
* Follow-Up: Send follow-up emails after calls to introduce the companys services and provide additional information.
* Lead Qualification: Identify and assess customer needs, determining which prospects are qualified to pass to the sales or logistics team.
* Customer Communication: Build positive relationships with prospects and maintain consistent engagement throughout the sales cycle.
* Sales Support: Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads and help prepare rate quotes as needed.
* Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date on industry trends and client expectations to better present service offerings.
* CRM Management: Track and document all activities and interactions with prospects in the CRM system.

Qualifications:
* 23 years of experience in sales or logistics (non-carrier-specific)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to be polite, persistent, and professional on the phone
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
* Strong follow-through and ownership of responsibilities
* Located in Eastern Time Zone preferred (due to client base)
* Experience with CRM tools and email follow-ups
* Work authorization in the U.S. is a plus (visa status is a nice to have)
