We are seeking a professional to fully own business development and deal origination for our organization. This is a “one-man army” role with end-to-end responsibility for developing and leading our go-to-market strategy, identifying, pitching, and closing new client opportunities.
We are a BPO startup with a SaaS component that enables us to deliver talent services in a streamlined, fast, and top-quality manner. We need an exceptional sales leader who can operate independently, bring an existing book of business, and deeply understand the BD channels and strategies required to succeed in this market. The ideal candidate will be able to open doors, build strong relationships with U.S. clients, and convert opportunities into long-term contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of U.S. clients in need of BPO services.
* Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and relevant industry forums.
* Design and execute go-to-market strategies to scale client acquisition.
* Work directly with the founding team to align commercial strategy with company growth objectives.
* Serve as the main point of contact for new clients, ensuring a smooth handoff to operations.
Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in the BPO industry servicing U.S. clients.
* Network: Existing book of business (active client relationships) and proven network.
* Deep understanding of outsourcing models and industry dynamics.
* Proven experience working with U.S. clients.
* Strong ability to build trust and close strategic deals.
* Knowledge of the startup ecosystem and B2B sales processes.
* Skilled at consultative pitching and managing complex sales cycles.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable building a market presence from scratch.
* English level: C2 (professional fluency, native or near-native).
* Hunter mentality with resilience and results-driven focus.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Compensation
* Base Salary: 5-5.5 million COP/month.
* Commissions:
* 5% of contract value upon closing.
* 3% recurring commission for the following 12 months.
* Long-term Incentives: Employee will be entitled to receive PIU awards, an equity-like incentive that allows team members to share in the company’s future growth and value creation, without requiring them to buy shares.
