Medellín & Metropolitan Area: 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (Company-provided transport)

Academic Background & Certifications
Professional or Technologist degree accepted, provided the candidate has demonstrable experience.
Experience
3 to 5 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
Candidates with assistant-level experience are welcome if they meet the experience requirement.
Language Requirement
Conversational English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess suppliers aligned with company needs.
Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery conditions with vendors.
Purchase Order Management: Prepare and issue purchase orders based on internal requirements.
Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
Cost Analysis: Track purchasing budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Vendor Performance Review: Evaluate supplier quality, delivery, and compliance.
Procurement Follow-up: Ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods and services.
Reporting: Generate reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory.
Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure supply continuity.
Documentation & Audits: Maintain organized records and support internal audits; manage both company and supplier documentation.
Trade Knowledge: Solid understanding of import processes; export knowledge and experience in free trade zones is a plus.
