We’re currently looking for a passionate and creative Head Chef who’s going to have an important role in our menu development. The menu operates across brunch, dinner, and weekend services, with an exciting and innovative selection of dishes.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality, and innovative dishes and specials. You will manage the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting, and maintenance, as well as the day-to-day management of the kitchen team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
2 years experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
Proven ability to manage, train and motivate your team
Experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing staff rotas
Working knowledge of health and safety, compliance, and procedure
Be aware of new culinary trends and recipes
Coordinate all of the kitchen staff
Hire and train new kitchen staff
Oversee purchasing to stay within a certain budget
Ability to create new menu items
Working hours
. 48 hours per week (required to work during weekends) If you work more hours
these are paid at the same rate
. 5 days per week, 2 days off

Salary
£38,500 per year (£15.42 per hour)
Service charge approx. £4,992 per year (£2 per hour)
