In this role, youll be the first point of contact for patients navigating deeply personal health journeyswhether through womens wellness, prenatal/postnatal care, or holistic treatment programs. Your mission: ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and respected.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
Familiarity with specialized scheduling (e.g., annual exams, prenatal visits, postpartum check-ups, functional medicine programs)
Experience with electronic health records (Athena EHR preferred)
Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage sensitive conversations with discretion and professionalism
Responsibilities
Greet callers with warmth and compassion, ensuring privacy during sensitive discussions
Schedule appointments for wellness exams, prenatal/postnatal care, procedures, and program-based consultations
Verify insurance coverage, especially for maternity, womens health, and functional medicine services
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
Coordinate with clinical staff for urgent or time-sensitive scheduling needs
Prepare patients for appointments with lab instructions, forms, and educational materials
Support ongoing patient engagement through reminders, follow-ups, and portal communication
