We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with at least 2 years of experience in end-user support to join our team in Barranquilla. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operation of IT assets through installation, maintenance, incident resolution, and support in hardware, software, networks, and servers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users (hardware, software, and networks).
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, and operating systems (Windows and Linux).
- Implement and maintain structured cabling.
- Configure and support networking devices (Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
- Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Assist with equipment and software inventory control.
- Provide support at local sites as required.
Requirements
- Technical or professional degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT technical support.
- Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, servers, and structured cabling.
- Experience with collaboration tools (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
- Intermediate technical English (reading and writing). English level B1 or B2 required.
- Availability to travel to local company sites.
- Willingness to undergo a technical evaluation as part of the selection process.
