Role Mission
Lead the area of educational innovation and technology, designing and implementing innovative pedagogical strategies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), fostering practical learning, research, and the use of technological tools in academic processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver the technology, computing, and STEM curriculum across different school grades.
- Promote projects in innovation, robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, and computational thinking.
- Implement active teaching methodologies such as project-based learning (PBL), design thinking, and STEM challenges.
- Coordinate extracurricular activities related to innovation and technology (clubs, fairs, competitions).
- Provide guidance to teachers on the use of digital tools and technological resources in the classroom.
- Ensure the proper functioning and updating of educational equipment and software.
- Encourage student participation in international and collaborative projects.
- Develop partnerships with institutions, universities, or external organizations related to STEM and innovation.
- Teach subjects related to computing and/or technological design.
Candidate Profile
- Professional in Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Electronics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international programs, coordination, or STEM educational projects.
- Knowledge in programming, educational robotics, digital environments, and innovation methodologies.
- Advanced English level C1/C2.
- Strong leadership, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing creative projects.
- Experience teaching in IGCSE and IB programmes is desirable
