Job Description
Embark on an exciting career as a Virtual Receptionist/Assistant in a progressive healthcare setting. Hourly Rate: The equivalent of US$ 5.7 per hour in the applicant’s local currency
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: 8 AM 5 PM Los Angeles CA time

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by professionally managing incoming calls and patient inquiries
Efficiently schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow
Guide new patients through the enrollment process, collecting and documenting all necessary information
Accurately update and maintain electronic health records, ensuring all patient information is current and complete
Actively participate in regular team meetings, contributing ideas for process improvement
Handle various administrative tasks to support the healthcare team and enhance operational efficiency
Consistently meet and exceed daily performance goals set by the organization
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and data handling
Requirements
Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a receptionist or administrative role
Strong familiarity with medical terminology and a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations
Proficiency in using healthcare-specific software and electronic health record systems
Exceptional customer service skills with a patient-centric approach
Ability to work full-time during Pacific Time zone hours (8 AM - 5 PM PT)
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
Adaptability to new technologies and software systems as required by the organization
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working remotely while maintaining a high level of professionalism and team integration
