Regional Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Report To: President / CEO
Summary: Hire, Train and supports the sales representatives. Manages Key
Accounts.
Key Accountabilities:
Recruit sales representatives. Set objectives, train and coach them, and
monitor their performance.
Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales
team to set objectives and monitor progress.
Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
Grow sales with current customers and new leads to meet established goals.
Manages key accounts on assigned region.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Builds, maintains and grows customer’s relationships.
Periodically visits leads and customers in its assigned region along with sales representatives (min. 2 visits/week).
Reviews accuracy of new customer information in SAP.
Identify customer’s buying trends and guides and research demand of new
products.
Estimate date & time of delivery to customers, based on company’s delivery
schedules.
Responsible for Account receivables of assigned region.
Approves orders to sales representatives based on credit limit or past due
invoices.
Approves sales representatives PTO through ADP and corrects timecards if
necessary.
Creates Glass Scrap lists.
Manages post-dated checks.
Manages product samples in branch.
Other Activities:
Listen to voicemails and return calls.
Process orders via email, phone, fax or walk-ins and process them in SAP.
Responsible for creating and presenting their customers with quotes and price list upon request.
Enters accurate customer data and other sales data for customers into
computer database.
Uncover and resolves customer problems with orders.
Provides product samples to qualified customers upon request.
Attends national and regional trade shows.
Other duties as assigned by CEO.

Required Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field. Sales program certificates is a plus.
10+ years of professional related experience in sales.
Experience in managing and leading a sales team.
Experience in SAP Business One is a plus.
Experience in reporting; KPI and metrics generation, data analysis, and
forecasting.
Computer literate and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite.
Bilingual (Spanish - English) with excellent verbal and written skills is
required.
Demonstrated ability and experience to working in a dynamic environment
and under pressure.
Work Environment:
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health
hazard potential. Sedentary sitting, walking, bending, frequent near vision use
for reading and computer use.
Valid U.S. Visa is mandatory.
Salary: $6,000,000 COP plus bonuses and commissions.
