Key Responsibilities
· Create and process new patient profiles in the case management system.
· Retrieve medical records following established procedures.
· Ensure reports, bills, and related case documents are gathered, verified, processed, and distributed accurately and on time.
· Sort, scan, and upload medical records into our database to keep information organized and easy to locate.
· Monitor case progress, ensuring documentation is complete and up to date.
· Answer and manage incoming calls, taking and relaying messages.
· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Educational requirements and/or preferences:
· Strong data entry and reconciliation skills required
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, prioritize effectively, and complete work accurately and on time
· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism (HIPAA compliance)
· Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) preferred
· Understanding of lien and settlement processes, plus.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical records, legal assistant, or personal injury support role, plus
· Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
