Your Key Responsibilities:
? Payroll Excellence:
•\tManage payroll processes like an expert! Handle timecards for both hourly and salaried employees while collaborating with Finance to ensure smooth operations.
•\tBe the point of contact for payroll inquiries, offering exceptional support.
•\tEnsure compliance with payroll standards and procedures.
•\tAssist employees and supervisors with timekeeping, training, and payroll-related requests.
•\tConduct routine payroll audits to ensure everything is in order.
•\tProcess weekly payroll for two entities, including taxes and filings.
•\tVerify payroll accuracy by keeping HR updates on benefits, leaves, and salary adjustments current.
•\tProvide reports on PTO, overtime, and meal breaks as needed.
? Accounting Brilliance:
•\tCollaborate with Accounts Payable to complete vendor reports with precision.
•\tProcess monthly invoices, audits, and reconciliations—everything in perfect order!
? HR Leadership:
•\tSupport onboarding and termination processes—guide new employees and assist those in transition.
•\tManage the recruitment process by working with managers, posting job openings, and interviewing candidates.
•\tKeep employee files updated on SharePoint and Paylocity.
•\tAdminister the company’s recognition program, ensuring everything is delivered on time.
•\tAssist with health benefits, including enrollments, terminations, and leave deductions.
•\tOversee PTO calendars and process weekly HR reports.
What We’re Looking For:
•\tEducation: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
•\tExperience: 5+ years in payroll (mid-size companies, 200+ employees), 3+ years in HR.
•\tSkills: Strong in MS Office (especially Excel), familiar with HRIS (a plus). Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
•\tBonus: Knowledge of multi-state tax and wage laws (California experience is highly preferred).
•\tSoft Skills: High integrity, teamwork-oriented, results-driven, and a strong sense of urgency in everything you do.
