Functions:
Logistics Management:
You'll handle the entire product lifecycle from purchase to storage. This includes processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating with carriers and warehouses to ensure products arrive on time and in good condition.
Inventory management, making sure stock levels are accurate and products are rotated properly (using the First In, First Out or FIFO method) to avoid waste.
Checking incoming products for any issues and ensuring they meet company standards.
Administrative & Reporting:
Documentation and data management.
You'll use different software systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) to track orders and inventory, and you'll prepare regular reports on inventory, quality, and compliance.
Preparing sales reports and managing invoice payments and deductions. A significant part of the job is ensuring everything you do—from shipping to storage—adheres to federal and state regulatory compliance, particularly regarding food safety.
Email customers and clients to follow up on orders, invoices, payments, and other inquiries
Required skills and experience:
3-5 years of experience
Background in logistics or inventory management, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and quality assurance.
Manage invoice payments status between company and clients.
Process all resolutions for invoice deductions.
Familiarity with federal, state, and industry regulations related to food safety, storage, and transportation in US.(PLUS)
Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, both English and Spanish. ( MUST )
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), PowerBI and other logistics and report management software.
Experience with ERP, WMS, or transportation management systems (TMS)
FIFO methodology (Plus)
