Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain an internal web application using Next.js. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient generalist who understands all layers of the web development process—from UI and APIs to databases and deployment. You will work independently on most tasks, with targeted support from specialists when needed.
Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and deploy features using Next.js or Astro.
• Create and consume REST APIs.
• Design efficient database structures and manage integrations (MicrosoftSQL or NoSQL).
• Implement responsive UI and reusable components.
• Handle version control, environment configuration, and deployments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine features and workflows.
• Maintain documentation and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• At least one ascertainable medium or bigger project.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js.
• Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or similar).
• Familiar with Git, API design, and basic DevOps (Docker, Azure Devops, Azure Container Registry).
• Can work independently on complete features with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable troubleshooting across frontend and backend.
• English communication skills sufficient for technical documentation and teamwork.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Cloudflare, Edge Functions, or Vercel.
Familiarity with authentication (NextAuth, OAuth) and state management.
Work Environment
Remote, flexible schedule aligned with U.S. business hours (0900 - 1700 in EST).
Direct collaboration with company leadership and technical advisors.
Focus on efficiency, autonomy, and clean architecture.
