The Role: FP&A Specialist (Financial Planning & Analysis)
You will be a fundamental part of building and enhancing the FP&A function. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, your analyses will drive senior managements strategic decisions by providing clear visibility into both the top and bottom lines.
Location: Bogotá, Colombia (Exclusive to Bogotá) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (Currently 7:00 am to 4:00 pm in Colombia).
What Youll Do - Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports, including detailed variance analysis (vs. Prior Year, vs. Forecast, vs. Budget).
Budgeting & Forecasting: Actively involved in coordinating the annual budget process, forecasts, and 3-5 Year Plans.
Advanced Financial Modeling: Develop, build, deliver, and maintain robust planning models on the FP&A platform. Create financial models using complex data sets in Excel for multiple scenarios and proformas for new products/services.
Strategic Support: Analyze key P&L revenue/expense drivers, growth areas, and synergies to guide executive management decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Assist in building and enhancing financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
What You Need to Succeed
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven FP&A experience.
Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint: Must-have.
Financial Modeling: Strong skills in building complex models in Excel.
VBA and Macros: A big plus! (Other technical skills are also valued).
