Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist to support our HR operations. This role focuses on offboarding, employee case intake, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
Responsibilities:
Oversee offboarding processes and exit interviews
Conduct intake for employee concerns and document thoroughly
Support investigations and case resolution
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
Assist in developing and communicating HR policies
Provide administrative support to HR leadership
Collaborate with leadership on HR initiatives
Foster a respectful and positive work environment
Stay informed on employment law and HR best practices
Qualifications:
23 years of HR experience, especially in employee relations
Strong documentation and communication skills
Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws
Experience with HRIS or case management systems
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
Willingness to attend one in-office day per month
