Sutherland is looking for a bilingual Cloud Application Support Engineer who will be supporting cloud-hosted apps in production. This role requires experience and good knowledge in AWS, SQL, Linux and technical support/troubleshooting skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain application, server, and database health.
Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2/3 issues (batch failures, data feeds, networks, DB, etc.).
- Manage documentation, incident tracking, and production status reports.
- Handle client tickets under SLAs and log issues in support systems.
- Provide on-call/off-hours support.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in application/production support in Cloud environments under high availability SLAs.
- Knowledge of ETL is a plus.
- Strong skills in Unix/Linux/Windows, Tomcat, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and basic scripting.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and support production under pressure.
- Availability for non-prime hours/on-call.
