Genuine School is a Colombia-based startup (founded in 2022) and a U.S. accredited digital school. We currently have over 500 students from Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst who is passionate about turning data into strategic insights that drive impact. This role is essential to help us understand performance, measure satisfaction, and continuously improve our academic and operational processes.

You're our perfect candidate IF:

You hold a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
You have 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting.
You are fluent in English and Spanish.
You are highly skilled in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or AWS QuickSight.
You are experienced in database technologies: SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, and designing schemas.
You have strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) and familiarity with R or Matlab.
You have experience with ETL tools and data standardization.
You are comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and hybrid infrastructures.
You are able to interpret large datasets, using Big Data tools such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
You have knowledge of data quality, governance, and documentation best practices.
You can clearly communicate insights and technical findings to non-technical teams.
You are detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at turning data into actionable decisions.
You are comfortable designing and analyzing community surveys to collect feedback from students, families, and staff.
Certifications in AWS or Azure are a strong plus.
Experience with Agile environments is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making across departments.
Build and maintain dashboards to track key indicators for operations, academic performance, and user satisfaction.
Design, launch, and analyze surveys for students, families, and staff to support a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with departments to align data strategy with organizational goals.
Restructure historical databases, standardize datasets, and improve accessibility and data quality.
Support leadership with predictive models and performance reports to drive strategic planning.
Maintain and improve data infrastructure and reporting processes as the school scales.
Ensure timely delivery of scheduled reports, supporting Genuine School’s improvement plan.
