Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and leadership-oriented Business Development Support Manager with exceptional English proficiency to help spearhead our expansion in the floral sector. This is not just a support role—it’s an opportunity for a business-minded leader to take charge of identifying and nurturing new growth avenues, building strategic partnerships, and making a direct impact on the company’s bottom line.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, B2B sales, and client relationship management, especially within or closely related to the U.S. floral industry. This person is expected to lead initiatives, take ownership of targets, and act as a key partner to the executive team in driving business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the identification and development of new business opportunities, with a primary focus on B2B clients in the U.S. floral industry
Establish and nurture high-value relationships with floral wholesalers, distributors, and major retailers
Conduct deep market research to uncover trends, gaps, and new client segments
Drive outbound business development efforts, including prospecting, outreach, follow-ups, and client meetings
Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement strategic growth plans
Maintain and optimize CRM systems, ensuring accurate reporting on leads, sales pipeline, and conversion rates
Represent the company professionally with fluent, near-native English communication skills in both written and verbal interactions
Provide feedback to improve offerings based on client insights and market feedback
Requirements:
Fluent or near-native English proficiency (spoken and written) – this is non-negotiable
Proven success in business development, sales, or B2B client acquisition
Demonstrated leadership in taking initiative, setting goals, and independently driving outcomes
Strong network or working knowledge of the U.S. floral industry is highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
