ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Brand Designer is pivotal in developing exceptional visual content that aligns with Design Pickle’s clients’ brand strategies and objectives. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to engage in all aspects of the design process, from concept development to delivering polished, high-quality visuals that resonate across industries.
Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST
Location: Remote, open to candidates in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, or India.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-Design cohesive brand identities, including original logos, typography, color schemes, and style guidelines tailored to client needs.
-Create and edit diverse visual assets for social media, websites, presentations, and various platforms, ensuring alignment with client brand guidelines.
-Use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Figma, PowerPoint, and Google Slides to deliver high-quality designs for various industries.
-Communicate directly with clients to understand requests, set realistic expectations, and deliver exceptional designs.
-Collaborate with Art Directors, Production Coordinators, and Quality Specialists to maintain workflow efficiency and project success.
-Translate client ideas into visually compelling, original designs that meet branding and messaging goals.
-Ensure designs meet client specifications and maintain brand consistency.
-Handle multiple projects daily, adapting to varying complexities and tight deadlines.
-Stay updated on design trends and techniques to provide innovative, top-tier solutions.
-Adapt to unique service needs, ensuring personalized and impactful creative outputs.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven portfolio demonstrating experience in branding projects, including ideation, logo design, and implementation across multiple formats, with a strong emphasis on graphic design.
- Advanced skills in conceptual design, typography, layout, and graphic design for print, digital, and broadcast media.
- Strong attention to detail with a deep understanding of both technical and strategic aspects of branding.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, capable of clearly articulating brand guidelines and design rationale.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Acrobat).
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides for design and presentations.
- Ability to interpret and organize project requirements, even in ambiguous situations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills with a forward-looking mindset.
- Preferred experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday, etc.) to track tasks and collaborate effectively.
Important: Before fully joining, you’ll go through a 2-week evaluation period called Brine during PST business hours. You’ll complete real design tasks to show your skills and speed. This step is required to move forward.
