We are seeking a highly experienced and operationally-focused Branch Manager to lead our agency in Cartagena, Colombia.

What is the Core Purpose of the Role?
To lead, coordinate, and ensure the operational excellence of the agency in Cartagena, while acting as the primary national lead for all Maritime Agency activities in Colombia.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Ensure the correct operation of vessels (liner and tramp), securing the profitability of the maritime agency business.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulations from maritime and port authorities (DIMAR, ICA, Migration, etc.), and keep all operational and Boarding Agents personnel up-to-date.
Business Development: Actively participate in the development of new business opportunities within Maritime Agency, strengthening relationships with clients and authorities.
Process Control: Create, maintain, and monitor KPIs and operational statistics. Standardize and implement processes under quality standards (ISO 9001:2015 and BASC v6).
Team Management: Directly lead and supervise a team of 5 to 10 individuals, fostering assertive communication and effective teamwork.
Essential Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Administration, Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar management or coordination roles within Maritime Agency, Logistics, or port terminals.
Language: Advanced proficiency in English (B2 or higher) is mandatory for international coordination.
Critical Skills: Leadership, Negotiation, Decision-Making, New Business Development, and Resource Optimization.
Location: Cartagena, Colombia.
