We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Advisor focused on providing exceptional collections skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent active listening skills, empathy, and the ability to manage customer interactions effectively. The Collector is responsible for contacting customers via telephone to collect payments on overdue accounts, resolve outstanding balances, and maintain accurate records of communications. The role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and professionalism to ensure effective debt recovery while maintaining customer relationships.
What youll be doing:
\tProvide top-notch customer service to platform users, assisting with various inquiries and issues related to their accounts.
\tHelp customers with account management, including account updates, password resets, and troubleshooting.
\tProcess refund requests and assist with resolving billing issues.
\tDemonstrate a deep understanding of services and products, staying up to date with new features and updates.
\tNegotiate payment arrangements in accordance with company policies.
\tFollow up on payment promises to ensure commitments are met.
\tReview customer accounts to determine outstanding balances and payment history.
\tUpdate account information and record all collection activities accurately in the system.
\tHandle inquiries and disputes in a courteous and professional manner.
\tProvide clear and accurate information regarding account status and payment options.
\tAdhere to federal, state, and local laws regarding debt collection (e.g., FDCPA).
\tComply with internal policies and procedures related to data privacy and customer interactions.
\tReport trends, risks, or issues to supervisors as needed.
