Essential Functions
Assist with completion of monthly bank reconciliations.
Review and record revenue
Support and complete a variety of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including entering in bills and invoices
Review and record all mortgage and utility payments
Assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of company balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Assist with cash flow needs by ensuring that outstanding balances owed to the management company are paid in a timely manner
Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
Performing additional duties and completing special projects to assist the finance department on an as-needed basis.
Requisites:
2-5 years experience with real estate accounting and financial reporting for US based companies (familiarity with GAAP and IRS).
Command of the English language: written and verbal
Experience with hospitality revenue accounting is a plus, but not required for candidates with a strong real estate accounting background. For example, experience with accounting involving platforms like Airbnb is a strong advantage for this position.
Experience using cloud based accounting software, experience using SAGE Intacct is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full time and fully remote role. Compensation for this position is based on a flat monthly rate and varies based on experience.
