Position Overview
We are seeking a Sr. IT Technical Support Assistant with strong technical expertise and an advanced command of English (speaking and writing). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems maintenance, and network configuration. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive mindset to support our growing technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver remote technical support for users on hardware, software, and corporate technology platforms (computers, printers, mobile devices, Office 365, servers, etc.).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computers, printers, networks, security cameras, and related technology infrastructure.
Configure and manage corporate tools including Office 365, Active Directory, IP telephony, access control, backup systems, servers, desktops and cyber security tools.
Manage support tickets via the help desk, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written must have) - B2 level englsh
Office 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint basic administration).
Windows operating systems Desktop / Server (client).
IP telephony (configuration and extension management).
Network infrastructure: cabling, switches, routers, and basic LAN configuration.
Printers and scanners (configuration, support, maintenance).
Backup systems (NAS and data backups).
Active Directory: user accounts, permissions, and policies.
Remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.).
CCTV and basic alarm systems.
Education & Experience
Graduate Technician or Technologist in Networks, Telecommunications, Systems, Computer Support, Electronics, or related areas.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in IT support, system maintenance, and NAS/network configuration.
Preferr batcherls degree or real world experince
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: COP $5,000,000
Bonus: COP $800,000 (after 60 days of employment)
Continuing Education Fund: COP $3,000,000 per year (with passing grade or valid certification).
